💼 Work

🛠️ New Developments er-uh, Developer?

I spent several years at MX Technologies, and myy evolution there as a Data Analyst mirrored MX’s own growth: I climbed from Data Analyst to Senior Data Analyst as the company expanded into Canada and opened an office in India. I will be forever grateful for the people and problems that shaped me there. It was an incredible place to build a foundation in fintech and data.

Now I’m excited to take that experience to the team at Figure as a Software Engineer on their Data team! I’ll be working at the intersection of data engineering, blockchain, and lending technology. Staying in fintech was important to me, and I couldn’t have found a better next step. Excited to see what the future holds!

🛠️ Side Projects

• NAS Migration: I currently run a Dell R420 as my NAS and it gobbles power like nothing. I don’t need all 24 server cores when all I’m running home automation software, so I’m migrating to a new setup that sips power.
• Home Assistant Overhaul: Moving soon and what better time to rebuild my home automation system from the ground up. We’ll try new tools, and see what’s new in the space.
